About this painting . . .
As I was searching through my sketch books for a design to paint, I came across a billowy design that caught my fancy. On a scrap sheet of watercolor paper that was very dark from my using it to test many colors, I wet the paper, then began cutting a design into it with a rag and wet brush. After playing with colors on the design, I had Turbulence.
