About this painting . . .
One of the forms I had created for a former painting kept sliding into my mind as visually potent. I also envisioned shards of a shape coming together as a whole. In time, I put the two ideas together as Reforming Passion. The dark bands seemed to be needed to hold the more organic shapes in place. Watercolor on gessoed canvas, then varnished.
