About this painting . . .
Our tour group got up early so we could see the Taj Mahal at dawn. With smog in the air, the famous building was shrouded in mysterious light. I sought an angle that was not a typical viewpoint. Although bedecked with inlaid precious stones and possessing a unique beauty, the ancient gift of love was bathed in a pink glow. January 29, 2007.
