About this painting . . .
Rothenberg, Germany captured just one scene amid numerous painting possibilities that had me drooling. But time was short. I walked along the medieval wall until I spied this combination of tile roofs, courtyards, storage areas, and old homes squeezed together. After making a sketch, I applied watercolor later that evening. October 24, 2005
