About this painting . . .
Mykonos Island sparkles with narrow passageways marked by whitewashed buildings and blue trim. I climbed up the town built on a hill because I had spied this Ancient Windmill, with sails tied to the protruding poles. I sat down at dusk to create this image before I scurried down to explore the many stores. October 16, 2006
