About this painting . . .
With Mt. Kilimanjaro and umbrella acacia trees as a backdrop, a herd of elephants conducted their daily trek to a favorite watering hole. I was inspired to paint Amboseli Elephants while watching this classic scene from my porch at Kenya’s Amboseli National Park. February 14, 2006.
