About this painting . . .
Sitting on an uncomfortable rock on a hillside overlooking most of Machu Picchu in the fog allowed me to catch glimpses of that ancient Inca structure in Peru. Fortunately, I had been to the famous mountain the day before in the sun. Sketching in the fog was a challenge. May 5, 2004
