About this painting . . .
In rural Ohio, there is an Old Grist Mill that ground grain for many years. The big wheel that used to be rotated by water power, turning the large grinding stones inside the mill, has been silenced. As I studied this piece of history, however, I just had to capture this view of the past. July 24, 2006
