About this painting . . .
Oslo, Norway, has an outdoor Folks Museum of churches, farm buildings, and homes of the 1700s. There were people in period costumes tending animals, making bread, and doing other typical chores of the era. I tried to capture a sense of that time in Norway Old Style. Early July, 2004
