About this painting . . .
Most of us have items that trigger special feelings or memories of the past. Memory Carriers, in acrylic, contains three items that elicit a feeling of nostalgia in me. The ice cream syrup continer was used by my namesake uncle who also made and sold cigars in a little shop. The pitcher and iron were a part of my mother's early life.
